Ali Edwards Week In The Life Project ended for me last Monday.  This week, I've been working on putting my album together.  In the past I've done 12x12 as well as 8.5x11 Albums.  Out of the two I liked the 12x12 album better.  I felt that when I did the 8.5x11 Album that things seemed a bit crowded and cluttered.  I don't know maybe I just put too many items into my album.

So this year, I decided to embark on a new idea and go with an 8x8 album.  So far, so good.  I've enjoyed putting the album together.  I decided to go with the 8x8 album, because I felt as though I might not collect as many items as I have in past years - this assumption turned out to be correct.  I still focused on a brief synopsis of my day as I did in my 8.5x11 Album in 2010, and I also have focused on Observations, Favorite Moment(s), Food and Gratitude(s).  Today I printed out my photos and look forward to completing this album.

If you've never participated in this album before, I highly encourage it.  I've been doing it since 2007 and I still enjoy going back every once in a while to look at these albums and see how much things have changed over the years.  So on that note, I think I better go back to working on this album!

Happy Scrappin'!

I had a lot of fun completing my Week In The Life Project back in 2007.  I often will look at this album and remember the fun times and not so fun times during that week - having to take work home; Hubby surprising me with tickets to a Tenessee Titans Game, my parents coming into town.  All-in-All it was a pretty memorable week - making this project one to do over and over throughout the years.

Above, you will see my Daily Opener for each day of the week.  I followed the same format for each day.  I spritz some perfect pearls purple and gold onto the white Bazzill Cardstock.  After that, I stamped a swirl image on each opener.  Next glued down each 5x7 pattern paper on the lower right hand side of the page, along with an inked and stamped index card.  A 5x7 picture from my day will go just above this pattern piece of paper.  The index card will hold one of the following:  a quote, a gratitude, or a few words that sum up my day....I haven't quite decided yet.  Next I stamped the date on each scalloped circle and placed a sticker on each heart pertaining to that particular day of the week.  My solid piece of chipboard, I will paint purple over the weekend - this will hold "observations" on one side and just "stuff" on the other side.   Also, my food/work page can't be completed until after I have the pictures from My Week In The Life printed.
